A showing of the film "Stardust" will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 10 at Decorah Public Library.
Decorah Public Library and the Alfheim Fantasy Book Group will host a free public screening of the movie “Stardust” Sunday February 10, 2-4:15 pm. All ages are welcome to attend but young children must be accompanied by an adult.
Based on Neil Gaiman’s award-winning book of the same name, Matthew Vaughn’s 2007 film “Stardust” tells the story of Tristan, a young man who promises to obtain a fallen star for the beautiful village girl that he fancies. Tristan’s vow prompts a journey into a magical land of scheming princes, wicked witches, and flying pirates. During his quest for the fallen star, Tristan learns about courage, makes new friends, and discovers the nature of true love.
“Stardust” (rated PG-13 for “fantasy violence and some risqué humor”) features Charlie Cox, Claire Danes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert De Niro, Sienna Miller, Ricky Gervais, Jason Flemyng, Rupert Everett, and Peter O’Toole.
