Copies of Ursula Le Guin’s award-winning title “Gifts” are currently available for check-out at the front desk of Decorah Public Library. The Alfheim Fantasy book group will meet to discuss “Gifts” Thursday Sept. 11, 7 pm, at the library. The discussion is open to the public.

Decorah Public Library will soon be the home base for a new after school program for 10 and 11 year olds called Rangers of the Earth.

Decorah Public Library still has openings for their evening discussion group for the four-book, “Twilight” series of novels by Stephenie Meyer. The event is Wednesday, September 17 at 7pm at Whalen Cabin in Phelps Park.

Copies of Marcus Zusak’s New York Times bestselling title The Book Thief are currently available for checkout at Decorah Public Library. Library staff member Kristin Torresdal will host an all-ages book discussion Thursday October 16 at 7 pm in the 2nd floor Mezzanine Gallery.
