DPL Presents "Fifty Creative Activities" for kids on June 10

Decorah Public Library will host “Fifty Creative Activities Kids Can Do @ Your Library” with Bob Kann Wednesday, June 10 at 3:30 to 4:15 in the mezzanine as part of the children’s summer reading program “Be Creative @ Your Library.” Library-lover and author, Bob Kann, will present a fast-paced, participatory program with fifty creative activities kids can do at the library. Children of all ages will learn how to think creatively, play with their imaginations, explore new books, and have oodles of fun at the library. Bob uses storytelling, magic and juggling to spark kids’ imaginations to get them excited about the resources available to them at the library.
Bob Kann has a PhD. in reading education from the UW-Madison, and combines his expertise as an educator with his expertise as an entertainer to create dynamic performances. He has presented more than 2000 library and school assembly programs throughout the USA since 1982 including many in Iowa. Bob’s performance is guaranteed to tickle kids’ funny bones and spark their imaginations.
