Winter Solstice, or the first day of winter, is on December 21st. It is the time when the pattern of lonooooonnnnngggg dark nights and short days begins to shift. At first the difference is very slight, but gradually, minute by minute, the days begin to lengthen and the sun begins to appear higher in the sky, bringing more light into our lives. In honor of the solstice, we will make glowing, illuminated mandalas you can display in your house or give to cheer someone up. We will also have some holiday goodies for you to enjoy.
