The talent show starring kids will be presented at the Decorah Public Library Wednesday, July 7 at 3:30 to 4:15 in the mezzanine as part of the children’s summer reading program, “Make a Splash-Read!” Performances in past have included jumping rope, playing an instrument or piano, singing a song, telling jokes, performing a magic trick, whistling, acting, reading a story, reciting a poem, gymnastics, hooping the hula hoop or performing a card trick. Local talent may sign up at the library for their time in the spotlight. The “Name the Fish” drawing will be held at the conclusion of the talent show.
