Decorah Public Library will host “Where Does Our Water Go?” with Mike O’Hara, Superintendent of Decorah Wastewater Treatment Plant, as part of the children’s summer reading program, “Make a Splash-Read!” O’Hara will be in the library Thursday, June 24 at 10:30-11:15 to help kids ages 6 to 10 years better understand the importance of preserving our ground water. Topics will include the stages of treatment in the plant, what water is reused and conservation of water.
