You don’t have to be French to make this delicious flat pastry filled with fruit or savory things. At this session you will learn the tricks of galette making from Carina Cavagnaro, local pastry chef.  She will teach you how to make and shape the dough, then fill it with local fruits.  Then you take it home to bake and enjoy it with friends.

Please bring with you a 3-4 quart size mixing bowl and a rolling pin if you have.  If you have neither of these, come anyway!  We’ll have extra.

PLEASE NOTE:  All summer programs are free of charge for youth age 10 and older, including adults. Space is limited for some sessions, so please sign up ahead of time. We want to be sure to have enough materials for everyone.  If you forget, or decide you want to show up on the spur of the moment, you are welcome to come and see if we have room for you.  Chances are you’ll get lucky!
