Morning by the creek is nice.  Come help take care of the shrubs and flowers that were planted alongside the section of Dry Run Creek that runs behind the library parking lot in 2008 (they are doing well!) and explore what’s living there.   We will be weeding & mulching around the plants we set in to attract birds and butterflies, trimming sucker shoots, maybe watering, checking for critters in and around the creek and more.  Wear old clothes, solid shoes and socks.  Bring work gloves, pruners or loppers if you have some.   If we’re lucky, maybe the water snake will show up!  Meet in the library’s covered parking lot.

PLEASE NOTE:  All summer programs are free of charge for youth age 10 and older, including adults. Space is limited for some sessions, so please sign up ahead of time. We want to be sure to have enough materials for everyone.  If you forget, or decide you want to show up on the spur of the moment, you are welcome to come and see if we have room for you.  Chances are you’ll get lucky!
