Decorah Public Library will host “We All Tell Stories: Yippeeeee!” with Bob Kann Wednesday, June 22 at 3:30 to 4:15 in the mezzanine as part of the children’s summer reading program, “One World, Many Stories”. 

Library lover/author/storyteller/magician/juggler Bob Kann, will present a fast-paced participatory program for kids of all ages. Bob has collected stories from around the world since 1982. He will share problem-solving tales from China, trickster stories from South America, funny “fool” stories from the Middle East and Native Americans, and “pour quoi” or why stories from Africa. Juggling, magic, comedy, and lots of audience participation make this show appealing for all ages. 

Bob Kann has a PhD. in reading education from the UW-Madison, and combines his expertise as an educator with his expertise as an entertainer to create dynamic performances. He has presented more than 2000 library and school assembly programs guaranteed to tickle kids’ funny bones and spark their imaginations.
