Registration is now open for five upcoming Thursday afternoon “Tales to Tails” sessions at Decorah Public Library: March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. Kids may read aloud to Magni the Library Dog for 20-minute time slots between 3:15 and 5 p.m. Please pre-register by calling 382-3717 or stopping by the library’s front desk.

Readers may register for reading slots as often as they like. Research has shown that building a relationship with a “reading dog” over time increases children’s confidence and literacy skills, in addition to providing yet another fun library and book-related activity for kids to get excited about.
