Decorah Public Library will host “Beyond My Wildest Dreams!” with balloon artist Daniel Poe Tuesday, June 19 at 3:30-4:15 in the mezzanine of the library as part of the children’s summer reading program, “Dream Big-Read!”  

Daniel Poe creates imaginative balloon sculptures that thrill people of all ages! The magic and delight of balloons crosses all generations. Everyone enjoys watching him twist colorful balloons into recognizable characters, incredible wearables, and comical sculptures. Using volunteers from the audience, Daniel dresses the kids in balloon costumes as character in the stories he tells.

Creations With a Twist has been in business for nine years and has provided balloon art for every event imaginable. With a huge repertoire to draw from Daniel will fascinate the audience as he twists a personalized sculpture for each story character.

In 2006, the Creations With a Twist Story Time Stage Show was developed. Since then, Daniel has entertained young audiences at day cares, pre-schools, libraries, and school fun nights with an hour long show full of stories, balloon costumes, audience volunteers and lots of laughter!
