Kick off the summer family-style at Phelps Park Thursday June 7 from 5:30-7 p.m. The evening will be filled with fun activities and live music, with food and drink available for purchase. In case of rain, festivities will be moved to the covered parking area located underneath Decorah Public Library (202 Winnebago St.). 

Family Fun Night begins at 5:30 p.m. with a Summer Carnival for ages 10 & under. Carnival booths include Sharp Shooters, Hole-in-One, Bean Bag Toss, face painting, and more! Booths cost 1-3 tickets (tickets are 10 cents each) and there will be lots of fun prizes to win.

Eat dinner with Toys Go ‘Round: $3 will buy a slice of pizza, beverage, and a cookie and all proceeds will benefit the non-profit toy lending library, which is located in the lower level of Decorah Public Library.     

Live music will be provided by Jeni Grouws and Lucas Blekeberg throughout the evening.
