Would you like to be able to recognize the signs of an approaching jogger two minutes before their arrival? By knowing what birds mean by what they do, says Jon Young, wildlife tracker and wilderness awareness trainer, you can describe and “decode”, even without seeing, what else is going on in any area where you happen to be. You can also predict pretty closely, what is going to happen before what happens, happens! Come watch a new and really cool training DVD we have about Bird Language, and preview its companion book, What the Robin Knows: How Birds Reveal the Secrets of the Natural World, also by Jon Young. Jon has spent 35 years practicing these skills and has developed a fun and efficient Bird Language Group learning model that can be used by anyone to set up a bird language group in their neighborhood. If weather and time permits, we will go to the nearby Dry Run creek-side and practice a bird sit.
