Join astrophysicist Kevin Manning, a former consultant to NASA, for “Astronomy for Everyone: the Size and Scale of the Universe” from 7-8:30 pm Tuesday June 4 at Decorah Public Library. This family-oriented program for all ages is free and open to the public.

During Manning’s 90 minute program, attendees will learn about the universe, the stars, and other celestial wonders - from the very large to the very small. Following an indoor presentation, a powerful telescope will be set up outside for viewing the craters on the Moon, the rings of Saturn, and other beautiful objects in the night sky (weather permitting).

An international award-winning astrophysicist, Manning founded Look Up to the Stars with a mission to generate interest and foster scientific literacy in the general public nationwide through the delivery of awe-inspiring, educational and entertaining programs.
