Decorah Public Library is proud to offer you best-selling and classic eBooks and audiobooks, available 24/7.

Log in using your Decorah Public Library card number, browse the collection or search for a specific title or author, and download to PC, Mac®, and many mobile devices (e-readers, tablets, smartphones, etc.). 

If you want to download digital audiobooks, you will need to install free software called OverDrive® Media Console™ on your personal computer. This is available on the OverDrive website via the link at the bottom of this page. Titles may be played on a computer or downloaded to an mp3 player; some audio titles can also be burned to CD.

To read eBooks, you MAY need Adobe® Digital Editions (depending upon which kind of device you have; see the OverDrive Help section of the website- using the link below- or email or call us at the library and we'll help you figure it out.).  Adobe® Digital Editions is free software that you download on a personal computer. Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including Kindle, Nook, iPod®, Sony® Reader™, and many others.  

With hundreds of popular fiction and non-fiction titles to choose from, the new collection is guaranteed to have something for everyone. You can download best-selling novels, well-known classics, self-improvement guides, and much more. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees!

This service, powered by OverDrive, is free with your Decorah Public Library card.
