"Beneath the Surface" Summer Reading & Activity Program for Older Youth
A series of Summer Reading and Activity Programs is available for older youth as well. “Beneath the Surface” offers once per week free programs, from 3 to 4:30 or 5pm (depending on the program) nearly every Monday from June 3 through August 5. Each program revolves around some aspect of our world or experience that lies beneath a surface, such as the surface of the earth, the water, our perception or awareness. They will feature a variety of opportunities to learn new things, create and collaborate with others.
Who Should Attend? Generally anyone ages 9 & up, including any curious adults. However, we would be sorry to exclude any younger child who wanted to come and who would enjoy the goings on. If you feel your child is in that group, please don’t hesitate to come, with them, or contact Heidi Swets, Youth Services Program Coordinator, for more information, at 382-3717.
